Socket groups

Two sockets are not automatically two circuits.

Use a simple breaker/lamp record before you rely on a split load plan. Unknown sockets stay out of the calculation until the circuit is confirmed.

Map first, split second.

If you cannot prove the sockets are on different circuits, treat them as the same supply and reduce the temporary equipment load.

Do not split the load until you know which sockets are really separate.

Record the breaker/lamp test by room. Unknown sockets stay out of the split plan until somebody confirms the circuit.

How to map: plug in a small lamp or tester, turn one breaker off, and write down exactly which sockets go dead. Never assume two sockets are separate just because they are on different walls.
